C3

C3 is the native token of the C3 Ecosystem. It will provide governance, fee accrual, ecosystem growth incentives, and utility as the space evolves. The Tokenomics are heavily designed to incentivize behaviors that accelerate the ReFi space. This is done through the help of Carbon Gauges.

Incentivized Activities

1: Bridging

When users tokenize and bridge their carbon asset, they are given a kickback in C3 as a reward for early users bringing carbon on-chain. The amount given is dependent on the amount of tokens brought, as well as the amount of C3 token allocated to the carbon token (based on the gauge vote)

2: Staking

When users stake (soft-lock) their carbon assets, they are given C3 rewards for holding their carbon assets on chain and embracing the ReFi ecosystem. Rewards are dependent on which asset is staked, how much is being staked, and the amount of C3 token allocated to their asset.

2: Liquidity

When users provide liquidity to certain carbon pools, they are given C3 as a reward for facilitating the ReFi ecosystem. Rewards are dependent on the pair, the amount provided, and the amount of C3 tokens allocated to the carbon asset.
