# Token Distribution

4bn Total supply of veC3 Distributed over a 5 year period:

* 7.5% to the core team, linearly vested over 3 years
* 7.5% to investors, linearly vested over 3 years
* 10% for KlimaDAO
* 75% for Ecosystem incentives over 4 years

The C3 IDO will come from the Ecosystem incentives.

The circulating supply will be based on the IDO at launch and the initial release rate will be around 3m a day.

## Initial Emissions:

For the ecosystem incentives, the emission schedule is as below: 

* 45% Year 1
* 30% Year 2
* 17.5% Year 3
* 7.5% Year 4

The initial emissions are currently distributed as below for year 1:

**Liquidity:** 

* NBO/KLIMA: 10%
* UBO/KLIMA: 8%
* C3/FRAX: 8%
* KLIMA/USDC: 8%

**Staking:** 

* NBO: 6%
* UBO: 4%
* wsKLIMA 3%

**Bridging:** 

* NBO: 6%
* UBO: 6%

**Misc:**

* VeC3 holders: 1%
* Unallocated: 40%

The remaining unallocated is given to the DAO, which has free reign on how to allocate. It may be used to increased rewards of a gauge, add grants, used for DAO contributions, or for partnerships.
